We were out yesterday to do the outstanding shooting in the snow for this year- and yes, it was really, really cold! I had the chance again to work with Julia Krantz who made two amazing outfits and in the last moment two pairs of huge, matching boots as well. We were shooting on a frozen lake in Lerum with two models from ModelOne, Therese and Alex, who were both doing a fantastic job although they were barely dressed and it was incredibly cold. We had organized before that we were allowed to use a football clubhouse there, to fix hair and makeup and warm us up, which was a definite lifesaver. Great fun!
I just got my tearsheet from the Fiberart magazine. The textile artist Julia Krantz was published there this month showing her Shell Series of which I took the photographs. Above a little text which is additionally on the fiberart website.
From today until the 18th of June is the exhibition of the HDK at the gallery Konstepedemin. It’s a really sweet exhibition, have a look at it if you’re around! (Also to see there, some photographs I took of Thistel and Elizabeth Gartinger for two of the designer.)
After quite some time I finally did a small session again with Elizabeth (www.gartinger.se) – only with available light and using some design pieces by Sanna Hjalmarsson.
I was asked for an interview by blanket magazine which is online today- you can read it here.
Here another work of a textile designer. The sculptures above belong to the work “Makraméism” by Anna Smillidotter.
Completly unrelated to the picture above- I discovered before that the serie “Narzissen und Kakteen” is published in the webmagazine Woof. You can see it here.

I was asked to document the installation “SVIT 413″ of the textile designer Agnetha Östlund. Here some pictures from this project. Model in one of the pictures is Angelica.

I got done today with the editing of a series I shot for the textile designer Julia Kranz. The dresses are meant to be primarily light sculptures rather than being worn. I still wanted to work with them on the human body – because I was very interested in seeing the shapes and shadings they make. Model is my dear Angelica, who also did her own makeup. I am besides that still working on the play piercing shooting which turned out really nice! I hope I can post something from that soon!
